I'm fine with that though last time I proposed it all packagers that responded said just send to dev mailing list.
No one wanted a separate packagers list. I'm not sure at this point aside from a couple of folks like you who should be notified.

I'll be happy to send you and whoever else wants one an email before I release.

So I don't have to retag with a different name, I'd probably put the pre-release tag not in the official location.
Will that be okay?
