[postgis-users] Polygon

Hi,

I have a river polygon and a floodplain polygon. And I need to split the
river and floodplain polygon at 1 meter intervals, obtain these
corresponding widths and then divide the river width by the floodplain
width.
See image attached of what I am trying to do. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks very much.
