[postgis-users] High Resolution vector as replicate of a raster image/table

Though a raster table can be used for producing a vector replica in
PostGIS, the interesting challenge is how a high resolution vector to
represent a raster image can be produced.

Has anyone managed to produce a vector replicate of an image based on a
raster table?
