Hi everyone,

Just started using proj.
I want to convert from lat/long coordinates in a spherical datum to utm
coordinates in WGS84. I use:

cs2cs -f %.7lf +proj=latlong +a=6371008.7714 +b=6371008.7714 +towgs84=0,0,0
\
  +no_defs +to +proj=utm +zone=30 +datum=WGS84 >

This apparently gives me the right coordinates but on the southern
hemisphere..! Anyone have any ideas why??
