[Proj] The world of ECEF aka geocentric coordinates

The predominant view, if not concensus, is to forget the ECEF and stick with 
geocentric [cartesian] coordinates and that is how I will identify my 
software and documentation.

A second issue arose and is the preferred or official designation of lat-lon-h 
coordinates.  Is geographic or geodetic preferred?  I have a tendency to use 
the two designations interchageably and mix them freely in emails and 
documentation.

Anyone want to nit-pick over this usage.  :-)
