[PROJ] Default units for time coordinate

I can see in the documentation that the supported time units are mjd,
decimalyear, gps_week, and yyyymmdd
(https://proj.org/operations/conversions/unitconvert.html). But in the
code example presented in the proj_trans_generic() documentation
(https://proj.org/development/reference/functions.html#c.proj_trans_generic)
it can be sees as comment that

"
/*  and the time is the constant 0.00 s */
"
So apparently the default units are seconds. Are seconds supported?
Which is the default unit time in PROJ? The same question for the
other units. Are angular default values radians and linear meters? I
find this not clear in the documentation
