Good points. We can use one of the endpoints on http://demo.pycsw.org as a canonical live example server to use in docs if we want.

Maybe we can have an overall doc sweep for CSW URLs in docs to point to the live demo server when possible (keeping in mind HTTP POST XML is not possible).  Thoughts?
