[Pywps-dev] Fwd: [Live-demo] PyWPS application

OpenLayers 2 had WPS client capabilities:
http://dev.openlayers.org/examples/wps-client.html
Perhaps the easiest is to start on that.

Tom, thank you for your work once again!
About the previous discussion: I think, the QGIS plugin is ... well ... coul de done better (and tested better) (not criticising the work itself - I've done nothing, just generally sharing my personal experience) - it's very important to have the plugin in in QGIS up and running, but I would prefer slightly different user workflow and, the plugin started about PyWPS 2.x - the code base needs to be updated
Having said that - I would prefer HTML page as the "show case" of PyWPS capabilities, not to rely on qgis
Having said that: we do plan code sprint in Basel - maybe we could put together program and PyWPS to OSGeoLive checklist could be one of the topics?

Hi Tom and PyWPS community,
As discussed on IRC today, and with votes online, we have the following votes re including PyWPS on OSGeoLive:
Cameron Shorter +1
Johan Van de Wauw +1
Angelos Tzotsos +1
Brian Hamlin +1
No negative votes.
I officially declare that PyWPS be invited to join OSGeo-Live.
Assuming you can get everything working, and all docs are up to date, then we'd love to see PyWPS on OSGeo-Live 10.0
Welcome!

As requested on IRC, also posting here:
23:32 < sebastic> I'm also in favor of including pywps, a natural
development since it was in 9.5 already :)
Kind Regards,
Bas
