[Qgis-community-team] Applying patch

Hello Tom!

To be honest ..  and maybe others know -
I don't .. an therefore it would be helpful to explain what is "patch 
9142" and where did you get it from .. why do you want to apply it and 
what bug gets fixed with this patch?
after knowing answers to these questions maybe i can help you
