a big +1 for pdflatex, the main steps are :
- cp *.png ../finalpix/ in each screenshot folders' makefile
- add it to /usepackage in qgis_style.sty
- pdflatex $(FILE).pdf in the main makefile
- delete dvips and all the .eps call
