[Qgis-community-team] next hackfest location: Portugal?

Hi all,

it seems I will miss another Hackfest...

it was supposed to help test qgis, clean the trac (I will try do it in
any case in the next days), carry pizza and beer when needed but in
particular it was supposed to put on the table our offer to organize the
spring 2011 edition of the fest in Portugal.

So... I guess I'll do it here.

The proposed location would be Lisbon, that has an international airport
served by low cost companies, accommodation would be not a problem, as a
capital is well served.

The proposed period would be late March/April, and enjoy the warm
Portuguese spring.

If you like and will confirm the proposal then the idea is also to
attach to the fest a day/half day of "qgis user meeting" were one of the
devs would be able to present the latest news and future plans about
QGIS. We also plan to invite companies and administrations (that we know
already use QGIS) to this user meeting, so it would be also a chance for
the QGIS committee to approach them and ask for sponsorship (and/or
explain why they should do that).
