[Qgis-community-team] qgis docs repo migration to git

Hi documenters,

just a short note about the migration of the docs repository to git. I
talked to Tim and we decided that we will do the updates for the 1.7 manual
first and after it is done and released we will migrate the docs to git. 

That is the most relaxed way and there is no need to hurry. 

BTW: It would be great if the documenters find some time within the next
weeks for updates of their sections. There are lots of changes from version
1.6 to 1.7 and starting to work on the manual now might allow us to release
it almost together with the software. That would be perfect :-).
