[Qgis-community-team] case studies from tanzania

Dear list,

I would like to write a case study to the QGIS webpage. I have two
alternative working topics:

1) experiences of teaching "Introduction to GIS" course with QGIS in
Tanzania for students and researchers on climate change effects on
ecosystem services in Eastern Africa
2) using QGIS, satellite images and GPS live-tracking system for land
cover mapping training area collection and control point measurements
for satellite image georeferencing

I don't see any case studies yet about using QGIS for landcover
mapping, so that could be interesting?

There is already a case study (2012) about GIS for wildlife training
in Tanzania. There would be some overlap but more the merrier, what do
you think?
