it is in seperate folders but is all build together.

but we currently build from the 1.8 branch to have the 1.8 manual online,
that's probably why you don't see changes in master on the server. 

Maybe it would make sense to change the scripts so we can build the
manual from 1.8 or any other branch and the rest from master, if that is
possible within on git clone.
