Hi,

Actually there should be a section for our releases somewhere, I
think, where one can see the evolution of the project. The old website
had this: http://old.qgis.org/de/ueber-qgis/qgis-versionen.html -
where one could inform oneself about the progress of the project.

I would prefer if this would be in the "For users" section rather than
in the documentation. The documentation is "in depth" documentation,
while the visual changelog is to quickly inform users for them to
decide whether it is worth upgrading to the newest release.

A simple link to Tims website would be sufficient and easy to fix.
