Dear Eduardo,
your help would be very much appreciated. As you might have read below, we
work with a list in the wiki to update QGIS 2.2:
http://hub.qgis.org/wiki/quantum-gis/ManualTasks
You can just log in and select a feature you would like to work on and
write your name right to it. If you need an account to log into the wiki,
please subscribe here:
https://www2.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/ldap_create_user.py
For working on the repositoty. The best would be, if you create a fork from
the current documentation master into your github home:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation
work on that fork and send pull requests with the chapters you worked on.
The local build process to test what you have done is described here
under "Build Tools":
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/blob/master/readme.rst
I hope this helps you to get started. Otherwise just write to the list and
we will help.
Regards
Otto
