Hi Diethard,

- we have two branches in github when we branch 2.8 docs this week (Otto?)
- so 2.8 will be the one translated in Transifex
- you can off course fix stuff in the 2.8 branch (but do not forget to
do those (or cherry pick) them in master also then
- only 'problem' I can think off is that after a fix in the 2.8 branch
we do not very often update the strings for transifex (based on 2.8).
But the solution for that is just to ask (me)
