i also noticed that the chapter 'What's new in QGIS 2.8'  is not up to
date on the QGIS documentation website. I worked on it but obviously
something went wrong with my commit.

Richard, can we insert my work on 'What's new in QGIS
2.8' (what's_new.rst) by hindsight?
