Hi Rosa,
Thanks for the help you are offering. Highly appreciated.
About the #3409 issue you are linking to, it's not closed: what is closed
is #3412 which is simply a duplicate (in this case because the #3409 fix
was originally for 3.6 and it has been backported to 3.4, hence the
automatic issue generation tool reports an issue for each branch). The
issue itself is not yet documented (if it has to be documented in this case
- but this is a discussion we can have in the issue report).
About the bigger issue (fixed issues not closed), indeed there might be
issues that are closed and still open; we try to close them as we go but we
may miss some so do not hesitate to report if ever you find something that
should be closed. and sorry for the inconvenience.
What we would need here indeed is a "issue tracker squad", people that
would browse the huge issues list and let us know what they feel should be
closed, not worth documenting and so on... No need to be a writer; a reader
is enough. Thanks to anybody willing to help fix that.
Regards,
Harrissou
