I am currently creating a QGIS Users Group for Canada. As suggested, I am interested in buying the domain QGIS.ca but its quite expensive (2.700 $CAD) so I would like to know how I can start using your subdomain canada.qgis.org instead, just as a starting point. A few days ago, I created a LinkedIn group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/18131068/) which is having a lot of attention and good feedback from my colleagues all around the country. I was also wondering if somebody may help me with advice on how to create a new group or maybe sending me logical steps to follow ? For now, I am working mostly alone on this, but I believe many people will soon join me here in Canada.
