[Qgis-developer] change layer name ambiguity

Hi,

I noticed that changing the layer name via [Properties -> General ->
Display name] affects both the layer name displayed in the layer *and*
the layer in [Map composer] legend, while changing the layer name via
[Rename] changes the name only in the layer tree - the [Display name]
in [Properties -> General] remains unchanged and so does the layer name
[Map composer] lagend.

If this is a fetaure I think it's bad. Could this be fixed, so that any
way makes the layer name changed everywhere?
