Not 3, for sure. We'd have to rewrite a whole lotta stuff.
FYI python 3 is not intended to be backwards compatible with 2 at least
that's what I've heard. I haven't tried.

2.5.2 or 2.6.1 should be ok. Might want to go 2.5.2 since that's what
most of the plugins are coded against.
