[Qgis-developer] Problem using QgsContinuousColorRenderer...

Hello List,

Can anyone give me some quick pointers on using the 
QgsContinuousColorRenderer.  No matter what I do I can't seem to get my 
layer to render according to the parameters that I'm setting. I end up 
with the right colours etc. set in the layers properties, but these 
settings are not applied to the layer?

Is there an example of how to use renderer's anywhere? I can't find 
anything on the WIKI or QGIS website....
