[Qgis-developer] test suite

Hi all.
We are interested in setting up a test suite for QGIS (open a grass
layer, set up a new grass location, etc.), in order to regularly check
new versions. I know close to nothing to the "make test" mechanism, so I
have no idea of how feasible it would be to include the test in it.
Alternatively, we can set up the paces to replicate by hand, along with
sample test files etc.
1. what do you think about it?
2. would it be useful to set up a wiki page describing the useful steps?
