fixed in trunk at rev 9340 (http://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/changeset/9340)
I needed to modify the size properties of the new dataset, because the 
script (unfortunately) cannot read by itself neither the size of the tar.gz 
file nor the size of the unpacked folder.
