Perhaps you could run a workshop on open-source geospatial as well? I
know a good set of source materials :)
I'd like to suggest Lancaster University as a location for a hackfest
in the future. Cheap accommodation in the student halls, cheap flights
from the US to Manchester Airport, cheap trains for the Europeans
maybe. Cheap beer.
I have been wondering if 'Hackfest' is the right name. Clearly 'code
sprint' is wrong since there's other things to do apart from coding,
but I'm not sure if the 'hack' in 'Hackfest' is quite right. How does
"QGis Development Days", or 'Dev Days" sound? Not as catchy... Other
ideas?
