not practical: huge - right now my universal GRASS app is ~200MB;  
universal Qgis is 160MB; the frameworks total 120MB

It also just seems wrong, bundling a complete application inside  
another application.

I guess personally I'm just not too keen on the all-in-one thing,  
especially with the complications (it would be fine otherwise).

One possibility would be to completely remove the GRASS plugin from  
the all-in-one Qgis.  Then it won't even try to load it and crash.   
The readme would point people to the full framework-based Qgis if they  
need GRASS support.
