[Qgis-developer] Removing default menus

Hi

Please provide more info:

 - what programming language you are using
 - what you have already tried
 - do you want to make these changes at compile time or run time?
 etc.

Assuming that you are using c++ something like this should work from the 
plugin api:

qGisInterface->layerMenu()->hide();

(untested code above)
