[Qgis-developer] PyQt4/Qwt5 errors

even reverting to an earlier version and recompiling now I cannot start
qgis (even removing pyplugins). It crashes on "Starting python".
Removing all qwt5 stuff does not help, nor recompiling afterwards, so
I'm basicaly stuck: any suggestion?
