[Qgis-developer] Python Version

Thank you for your input.

Maybe I have another problem then. If I open the Terminal and type:

python2.6
>>> import qgis.core

I get:

Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named qgis.core

However, if I do the same with python2.5 it works fine, and I can go
on to write a shapefile, etc.

Any idea what would cause this? I am using Ubuntu Jaunty.

Thanks,

Matt
