[Qgis-developer] editing point vectors (symbols)

Hi all,
I noticed that when editing a vector point layer on qgis 1.2 (Ubuntu
9.04) the symbols do not change nor the layer is marked differently in
the legend, so it can be difficult to recognize if a layer is being
edited or not. I can't recall if i previous versions it worked
differently.
