Desculpe me :-) My first response was from my cell phone without trying
it yet. I can replicate the issue here. In fact the decoration draw
events are still being triggered, but it looks like something in
mapcanvas may have been changed which has broken them. I'm having a
deeper look to see if I can figure out why.
