[Qgis-developer] odd calls to classFactory for python plugins

 I don't think the cause of the crash is anything to do with the
plugin loading mechanism - or at least at the moment I don't have any
evidence for that. What confused me was that Qgis was showing an R
segfault error message even when I didn't have any R plugins enabled.

 I'll investigate what was causing my crashes later, I just got
sidetracked with this R message.
