Hi,

I still don't have the N900 but I compiled a few things on the older Nxx
models, AFAIK, the N900 has a smaller screen and a new touchscreen, it comes
without the stadard toothpick-like pen and the new maemo interface is more
like a thumb interface than a pen interface.

That said, I successfully compiled and run the whole KDE system on N800 and
given that the processor speed on N900 is much faster, there are good
chances that QGIS will run at a decent speed on that new device.

Doubts about real usability of QGIS on such a small screen still remain.

If you want to try, there exists a ready-to-use virtual image with all cross
compilation toolchains and maemo simulator already in place.
