[Qgis-developer] Packaging Python for Windows extensions with Windows Standalone Installs of QGIS?

Would it be possible to get the Python for Windows extensions included
with the future installers of QGIS in the included Python install? This
would allow for working with serial ports via the pyserial module much
easier.

Currently I have to install these extensions separately and when there
is a version difference with a system install of Python then that has to
be uninstalled and the version that is the same as the one packaged with
QGIS has to be installed first.
