[Qgis-developer] Delete view layer on unload method

Dear all,

my plugin use some postgres view to load layer.

When I close QGis i'd like to delete all the views that are related 
with the layer from Postgres.
If I use the method (unload) the system says that the plugin instance 
has no attribute 'mapCanvas'
I imagine that when unload method is running all QGis classes/object 
are already unloaded.

Do you know in which way i can introduce this feature to my plugin?
