Apparently yes:
ls -l /usr/lib/R/lib/libR.so
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2622756 15 dic 04:51 /usr/lib/R/lib/libR.so
Maybe rpy2 is incompatible with this version of R?
I have 2.10.1-2 on debian testing.
