[Qgis-developer] How to load a postgres layer using a custom query?

Hi Jürgen,

I keep getting the following message when trying to use this functionality:

Quantum GIS was unable to determine the type and srid of column  in
(select st_union from ireland_all_1) as "subQuery_0". The database
communication log was:
ERROR:  zero-length delimited identifier at or near """"
LINE 1: select srid(""), geometrytype("") from (select st_union from...

Any ideas why?
