[Qgis-developer] How to load a colour table on a raster, programmatically (in python)?

QGIS and the GDAL dependent plugins work fine...
Ball in my camp again ;->

An ancillary question is how come the OSGeo4W GDAL-1.7 files do not have
those python bindings? Or is it something very new?
