[Qgis-developer] Some questions about labelling

Hi list,

I have some questions regarding labelling options. I search in the list with
the nabble search tool, but could not find the answers to these following
questions :

* is there a way in Qgis to display the label along a linestring, e.g. for
contours or rivers ? The best would be as mapnik does, folling the
linestring :
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43.617869&lon=3.901034&zoom=18&layers=M

* Is there a way to wrap the label with a string parameter and a "maxlength.
E.g. "The River of the Big Reef" would become
"The River of
the Big Reed"
when applying the parameters : string = space , maxlength = 10
Mapserver has such option : MAXLENGTH combined to WRAP
