Thank you. The analysis part of QGIS is a place where help is very much 
appreciated.

For the f-tools functions, an implementation in src/app (and placing the tool 
menu under 'vector' as it is now) would be better than a plugin. Because 
vector analysis is generic functionality that, ideally,  should be there 
without the need to load a plugin.
