[Qgis-developer] hackfest in Pisa

Hi all.
Yesterday evening I've been at a Pisa LUG meeting (http://www.gulp.linux.it) to
stimulate interest on the hackfest, and ask for their participation and support.
They suggested we could also do, at the beginning of the fest (possibly during the
first afternoon), a short tutorial on how to start coding in QGIS: we can do that at
the University http://www.di.unipi.it/, so we can stimulate the participation of
students and newcomers to the project, and try to raise new qdev. I think the
tutorial of Gary should be a good start, so no need for much work.
Opinions? Ideas?
