I'm trying to compile on ubuntu 9.10 and I also get the

CMake Error at cmake/FindSIP.cmake:52 (MESSAGE):
   Could not find SIP
 Call Stack (most recent call first):
   CMakeLists.txt:354 (FIND_PACKAGE)

message.
