[Qgis-developer] Raster statistics

Hi all,

there are two sets of statistics now for rasters, visible when you
open raster properties. One is taken aux-file if it exists using GDAL
and another is some kind of internal QGIS one.

Question why not use just one, GDAL's?

Implication is that QGIS stats are saved only session wide, if you
remove raster from the project it needs to be recalculated.
