Hi mathias good work, i think there are a lot of small features that
is possible to add in the plugin, if you are interesting during the
hackfest in pisa i can work on these point:

- choose other controls (mouse position, permalink, scale line, attribution ...)
- change the OSM source with another more update
(OpenLayers.Layer.OSM) and add other source of free data
- add the possibility of query on kml
