[Qgis-developer] ftools & merge shapes

Hmm. On Linux, when I first applied this patch to my working copy, I
had some trouble getting it to build/install properly. I'm not sure
why, and I eventually got things working (can't remember how)...
Perhaps a similar issue is cropping up here? In any case, the file is
indeed in the src python directory in trunk, so it should be working?
