Hi Carson.
First test of the new manageR, a few annoyances:
- characters become blank when selected via the mouse
- when deleting a graphic device with the graphic device manager, I get:

RuntimeError: underlying C/C++ object has been deleted
The error remains even after quitting manageR; one has to restart QGIS.
- importing a 3.4Mb shp layer form the canvas takes a long time, and the
whole machine becomes unresponsive.
More testing to come as time will allow.
