[Qgis-developer] Summer of code

Hi all

just a short note regarding my GSoC project "QGIS on steroids" - this
week I've successfully defended my master thesis ("Structural
recognition of facades") [1] and passed the final university exams, so
with a small delay I'm starting to work on the project. I'm really
looking forward to make QGIS faster!
