[Qgis-developer] Windows refresh rates are slow

Thanks Giovanni for the response. It is entirely vector and I find that the redraws to be very slow.
I made the suggested changes on using render caching and I do not see that much performance gain.
Is there anything else to do to help the refresh speed?

rasters or vectors? size? added pyramids/overviews in rasters? did you
tested enabling the "use render caching where possible to speed up
redraws"?
