[Qgis-developer] qgis vector editing/digitisation

I would like to make a standalone vector editing application by reusing
existing qgis code ? Is it possible?
which part of code is responsible for vector editing/digitising ?
what all includes from Qgis do i need to use?
Any please help me with an example
